From the city of Compton, California, the popular Nike Cortez makes it’s long awaited return onto the streets of SA.

When i think ‘Nike’, Cortez is pretty much the first shoe that comes to mind. These kicks were highly fashionable during my teen years and every cool kid on the block copped a pair.

The Cortez comes in a set of two colourways, all-white & all-black, constructed from a combination of nylon and leather materials.

The shoe honours Compton with an embroidered ‘1972’ on the back of the heel in a typeface synonymous to the city.

Set to release tomorrow, Friday 29 April online & in-store at Shelflife retailing at a price of R1199.00.
